He blew a few saves but I thought he was a good closer. Our front office is in a long stretch of angering Greg. They've done a good job of acquiring guys I don't approve of. A couple times I stifled just cause the board was so happy to get some of those guys, but our front office has a horrid record since 05 of doing anything right. The rebuild? We'll see. Who did you want this offseason then? Enlighten us

Enlighten us I still think Moose would have been a good 3Bman for us for 5-6 years. Could you give me the list of last year's FAs. My preference was 2 good relievers, one GOOD starter and a third baseman, Moose, as well as one outfielder. None of those guys would have been blocking anybody and coulda helped us creep to .500. You guys with the list and pick for me. Give me a good starter, Moustakas, a good outfielder and two good relievers. That's not cheating. It's Hahn's job. I was not a big castillo fan at catcher (again Sox have made very few moves that have met my approval since 05) but at least they tried there. You'll get mad at me for Royals talk, but Cain is a winner as well. Edited June 2, 2018 by greg775

Frankly I wish I could stomach them cause I'm dying to care about a team that wins. But I hate the Cubs and know very little about them. No time to follow teams besides the Sox. I enjoy listening to Denny Matthews get crabby (less this year for some reason) and bark at his co announcers so sometimes in the car I listen to royals when driving. No Cubs though. Conveniently, I bet prior to 2005, you loved the Podsednik trade, Dye signing, Contreras trade, and Iguchi signing, right? Also, stop with the Moustakas stuff. Like another poster said, Sanchez has been good at 3B. Furthermore, IIRC he would have costed the Sox a draft pick, and if Moustakas was such a no-brainer, why did no one else sign him? Lastly, why should I give you the list of free agents? It’s an easy google search, and YOU are the one who keeps pushing the “sign veterans” stuff, so again I ask, which veterans did you want? Jose Abreu
Yolmer is better than Moustakas. I thought we were past this

I've hated almost all our moves, yes. I was very happy about Pods. I worshiped Dye. Loved Contreras and loved Iguchi acquisition. Of the four I probably loved Contreras the least. Why can't you guys help me out. You tell me two relievers we could have signed who are very good; one starter very good; one third baseman and one outfielder and maybe a catcher besides Beef. All it woulda cost is a few bucks. It wouldn't have prevented anybody from advancement.
