Bmr31
Am i just caught up in the moments, or is this years playoffs one of the best playoffs in a long long time? I realize they arent always perfectly played games, but what drama, and excitement! Anyone else agree??
SuperSteve
This has been a very exciting postseason already. It can only get better. We'll have to wait to see what comes next. Anything can happen, who would have thought the Marlins in the NLCS when all the Lowell trade talk was going on?
SnB
Anyone else think the marlins are a perfect example of what 'could have been' for the sox this year? after about a month of mediocre baseball, the marlins knew they needed a new manager, got one......and are now 4 wins away from the world series. I hadn't even thought of that. We'll never know what could have been this year. And that's too bad, we could have done something special. SnB
During the game, one of the announcers said the marlins had the best record in all of baseball after may
Bmr31
Speaking of the playoffs, who do you guys like tomorrow..........Oakland and Hudson on three days rest or Boston and Burkett?

The Marlins, in my opinion, are the perfect team. Speed, defense, youth, and just enough veterans to keep the team together.

I realize they arent always perfectly played games, but what drama, and excitement! Anyone else agree?? I agree wholeheartedly Bmr, whether or not the White Sox make it, playoff baseball is still extremely exciting. When Pudge got that hit to win game 3 for the Marlins, I jumped out of my chair. They're not the Sox, yet I felt excitement.
witesoxfan
Speaking of the playoffs, who do you guys like tomorrow..........Oakland and Hudson on three days rest or Boston and Burkett? Oakland. This series could have and probably should have been over tonight. A few dumbass plays and one terrible call by the umps IMO, and they're playing again tomorrow. I think we find one of our ALCS teams tomorrow, and we find the next on Monday.
Wise Master Buehrle
Speaking of the playoffs, who do you guys like tomorrow..........Oakland and Hudson on three days rest or Boston and Burkett? I believe Boston will win this next game. They're in Boston, and the A's might be feeling a little down after completely BLOWING todays game. They could have won it IF Eric Byrnes actually tagged the frickin' plate or IF Tejada actually RAN to the plate instead of stopping and filing for interference. It would have been A LOT easier to just take home plate instead of stopping and whining that he interfered, and Tejada had home plate easily. witesoxfan
Also, maybe it's just me, but I for someone reason don't get the same feel this year that I have gotten from the playoffs in year's past? I mean, last year, and in 01, and even slightly in 00, I got this sensation, and my heart starts beating faster when I think of the playoffs. This year, I don't get that. Do you think it's because the Sox got so close but then choked, because the Cubs are in, or both? Because I can't figure it out.
Gene Honda Civic
Speaking of the playoffs, who do you guys like tomorrow..........Oakland and Hudson on three days rest or Boston and Burkett? Hudson has been lights out. I don't care that he's on three days... He's better than Burkett. Only the White sox make Burkett like Cy young. Hudson is a serious Cy young candidate. whitesox247
The greatest part of the playoffs is its unpredictability. Theres the memory book games, and the downright ugly ones. Thank god for baseball
Soxplosion
The only non exciting division was the Twins-Yankees and thats still fun since the Yanks are beatin the s*** outta the Twins...
