White Sox at #4. I'm worried that Mize and Singer will be taken already. Madrigal scares me a little, reminds me too much of Gordon Beckham. Is India or Bohm a better fit for CWS?

I think Singer gets there, although I wouldn't take him over any of those three bats you mentioned. I think he's more Carson Fulmer than Chris Sale.

If the Phillies land either Madrigal or Bohm (seems they are most interested in a college bat) or even Bart if he falls, how quickly do you think each of these bats gets to the majors?

None is more than two years away. I'd guess any or all could debut late in 2019.

How many draft-eligible pitchers are good enough to pitch in the majors later this year (even in pen)? How does that compare to the average draft?

I think Mize could, in relief. A few college relievers probably could too, guys like Mulholland way down my 100. Singer maybe as a right-handed specialist.

Personal 1st round board:

1) Casey Mize

2) Nick Madrigal

3) Alec Bohm

4) Joey Bart

That is how my draft board looks, except I'm not certain whether I'd rather have Bohm or Bart. Likely Bart due to his ability to stick at catcher defensively.

Bohm screams middle of the order bat to me, which is why I'd rather have him than Bart. With the rarity of good hitting, good defense Cs, I can understand preferring Bart, but I'm not too high on the org's ability to improve questionable hit tools, and Bart's hit tool is the biggest question about his game as I understand it.

If i was sitting in the war room

1.) Mize
2.) Madrigal
3.) India
4.) Bart
5.) Bohm
6.) Singer

Id prefer the sox draft Madrigal or India, if we can't land Manny in the FA class and the rockies lock up Nolan we're looking at a situation where we sign a 33 year old josh Donaldson. If the sox draft Madrigal or India; they can always move Moncada off of 2B or over to 3B to accommodate them, with India sticking at 3B and it gives them some depth in case of a year long injury, Bohm could stick at 3B but i prefer India and Madrigal to him.

Also, Law just said Madrigal is not a plus runner.  At least from I’ve seen/read, that doesn’t appear to be a true statement.

He doesn't get down the line very fast. I think his great instincts make him look a lot faster stealing and going 1st to 3rd.

So lots of buzz about Mize falling and SFG having an agreement with Winn.

1- whoever Detroit has an agreement with

2- Winn

3- Mize

Would let us pick between Bart, Bohm, Madrigal, and Singer. That would be quite the turn.

I would be satisfied with any of those 3 over Singer. Please please.

Makes major sense for all 3 of those teams...almost wish CWS went underslot with Kelenic
