OSU will have to beat MSU twice to advance to the finals. Could see a Pilkington vs Madrigal matchup.

I understand the sentiment, but I would also love this kid to end his college career as a winner and team captain of the National Champ team.

That would be a nice accomplishment for him.

I never understood why the MLB draft is during the college season instead of waiting til it’s over?

Because waiting two more weeks would give newly-drafted players only July and August to play (short season teams) in their draft year...assuming they signed quickly.

Personally, I love it, because I would likely never be watching any of these games unless I suspected the Sox were going to draft a certain player. But if the Sox were picking in the mid-late 1st RD, I wouldn't have even bothered. Because they were picking so high, I would have likely watched Oregon St and Florida anyway, due to Madrigal and Singer.

Same. Doesn't hurt that both Oregon St and Florida have some likely first round picks for the 2109 draft we are getting a look at. Also, we will be seeing plenty of Madrigal vs Singer in the AL central in not too long.

Hopefully we are picking like 40th ;)
