Go Get'em Braves!!! Unlike so many here after Game 3, I wasn't ready to concede s*** until Atlanta was beat in Game 4. If Atlanta lays off the s*** Kerry Wood throws in the dirt, gets the pitch-count up, and makes him throw strikes..... Atlanta will win this game. Hopefully seeing him only 5 days ago will help the Braves a bit. Additionally..... the 4 days rest for Kid BB may wreak havoc on his back come the middle part of the game..... necessitating Baker to go to that s***-ass BP early. Yankees just scored and are winning 1-0 with Williams on second and one out in the top 4. I hate AJ, Mientcewicz, the Humpfrey Dome, Tori, Radke, Mays and everyone on that team. The Twins suck. Listening to the Score last night I couldnt believe the kind of blind faith Cub fans have for Kerry Wood. When the Cub callers would call in, there would be some idiot going, "Cubs will win because we all have faith!!!" Then Me and Z would ask them why. They would reply, "Uhhhhhh because Kerry Wood pitched a good game one. It only makes sense he'll do it again." I hope he gets Santana'd today and gives up 6+ runs to the Braves. Nothing like losing a game 5 elimination game from an ass whooping. Cub fans seem to neglect how the game of baseball is played; doesn't matter if Kerry Wood pitches great your team still has to score runs. The Critic Posted October 5, 2003 Share Posted October 5, 2003 My only concern is the fact that Mike Hampton SUCKS, and he's going on short rest. I think Wood is due for a stinker, but Hampton can stink out the joint at any time. I just hope and pray that I get the chance to display the sCrUB logo I made that says "Choke" instead of "Cubs".
