joejoedairy
Birmingham now has 6 starting pitchers. Dunning/Cease/Hansen/Flores/Clarkin/Guerrero. I wonder which of Clarkin or Guerrero gets moved to the pen. They also have 5 outfielders but they'll probably do a rotation similar to what WS was doing. Dude always seems to be hurt and/or ineffective.

Isn’t he supposed to be part of this as well?

The 5th to join your first 4 is Tomshaw.

I assume this is about Guerrero and seeing how he works out of the pen. Someone has to start (they have org guys scattered throughout the minors). He lost his legit prospect status when left unprotected in Rule 5. The pen might offer a chance of resuscitation for Guerrero.

Even then, there is a fair chance that Kopech is called up first, especially if he starts to turn it around again.

MnSoxFan
Poor Kannapolis, now their rotation is really poor. Rigler and a bunch of crap. They really blew that first half championship in that final week, too bad, as they will not come close in the 2nd half.
chitownsportsfan
Great to see Lambert going against tougher competition now. As an older guy (for a recent draftee) you'd like to see him continue to excel and push for a spring training invite next year. Been said many times but the depth in the system is really showing through. Five years ago a guy like Lambert would probably enter next year top 10 in the org.
