Simply awful managing. He's handled Giolito terrible late into his starts. Probably ten unnecessary runs he's allowed when he had no business being in the game.

This x 100. When a young pitcher has a good outing, you let him leave the game on a positive note, rather than let him get himself into trouble. Ozzie was great with that. Ricky is god awful, and that is an understatement.

Moncada and Anderson are so similar defensively. Elite range for their positions, dazzling plays from time to time, but sometimes messes up routine plays. If they both hit their defensive ceilings (which Anderson is already starting to do), we're gonna have the best defensive middle infield in baseball, and it won't even be close.

Triple down on you guys with this.  I don't know if Coop needs to say something to Rickey about this, or if he actually agrees with leaving these guys in too long, but someone needs to figure this out.  The point of this season and at least part of next year is to gain confidence and taking guys out in good situations is part of that.

Is by far our best lineup IMO. I'd love to see this used. Get Engel out of there, move Anderson up, play Leury every day
