NorthSideSox72
Here's an in-person game report from the AZL last night, where Nick Madrigal made his professional debut. It includes a couple videos and photos of Nick, and some context for his performance that day.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Madrigal might be a leprechaun the way his teams seem to come back to win so much? Sox could use a lucky charm..
Baker
If Madrigal cracks the starting line-up, which combination makes for the better defense? Moncada 2b, NM at ss, Timmy OF. Or NM at 2nd, Timmy at ss, Moncada OF?

tray
Moncada recently said that in hindsight, he was glad the Red Sox traded him so that he could play where he feels comfortable...second base. Madrigal probably does not have a strong enough arm to play on the Left side of the infield and make the longer throws. There is no room in the outfield for Tim Anderson and no reason to move him from SS unless the Sox have someone who can play SS better and hit. kwolf68
Oh my....a short guy wearing #7....is this me about 30 years ago? Oh no...this guy can actually hit. Really excited to see what he can do. Not worried about the positions at this point....that will all shake out in time.
