oh i didn't blame him, we got a decent prospect in return. it was the pot shots that was said about him from the sox side.

lofton seemed to lose interest once his union rep role kicked in..i remember a story in the southtown where lofton was upset with most of his teammates because kenny is very pro union and most of the sox players didnt share his same ethusiasm...it really caused a riff between them..i dont think lofton and the sox are a good fit...

after lofton left jeff liefer took the union rep position by default..no one else on the sox wanted it...even jeff wasnt very entusiastic about taking the position...i could see if kenny was really as pro union as was portrayed where this could have been a problem...so him coming back probably would never happen and wouldnt be a good idea if he would

If you wanted me to, I could go on and on with profanities galore in this post about how stupid Lofton is and how he ruined the White Sox this past year. I'll save you the 5th grade language.

Lofton is a clubhouse cancer, is streaky, and when a guy hits .150, it's like the Kenny Williams at 3B experiment....you don't do it over again. We were smart enough that time, and are smart enough this time....I hope. Jimenez is a good leadoff hitter....and if we want a CFer, get Cruz Jr.....he's the one you want.

Alomar hit .287 last year with the Sox with 7 homers and 25 RBIs....if he hits .260, I'll be happy...he won't be playing more than 50 games or something around there. That's about 1-2 games a week...his knees won't die on us catching 1-2 games a week. Plus, he's mainly here to tutor Miguel....after this year, he'll probably retire. And if we brought him back as a coach, it wouldn't be bad....maybe a catcher's coach or something like that.
