BamaDoc
I am in no way affiliated with southsidesox but they put out a story on Melendez today if anyone is interested. Also, I know it shouldn't matter but please get my votes off of 13, it creeps me out. Balta1701
Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright, The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light; And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout, But there is no joy in Mudville—mighty Madrigal has struck out.
Chicago White Sox
Madrigal with a BB to add to the K. And Basabe most definitely injured, although I’ve seen nothing official on that front.
SoxAce
Collins just doubled on a 3-0 count. He should do that more.
BigHurt3515
I don't want to jump the gun but I wonder if Cease is in the majors by all-star break next year

soxfan49
Cease has given up no H’s or BB’s while striking out 3 through 2 IP. Madrigal is 1-2. Gonzalez and Rutherford are 0-7 combined. Collins has a double. Eloy is 0-1. Bum.
Timmy U
I would like to invite the folks at fangraphs to step into the box against Cease the way he's throwing. Have no idea why they rate him so low.

The Sir
Not that it really matters, with our outfield glut and all, but Jameson Fisher has really fallen off a cliff.
fathom
I only hope Michael Cole was announcing when Madrigal struck out to say "the streak....is over"

Chicago White Sox
Cease has to be a top 20 prospect at this point. When you start seeing results like this in AA from a guy with plus stuff it’s time to bump them up the rankings.
kwill
Is there a thought to just bring him up to AAA at this point. I know he is moving fast through the system but what is the point of being AA. He is just so much better than the rest of the competition at this point. The other option is to let him throw lesser amount of innings the rest of the way. He is already has 20 more innings on his arm than last year. Should you take it easy on him and let him top out at like 140 innings this year.
