White Sox are on track (knock on wood) to have the best 1-3 starters in MLB by 2020. Add a Chris Sale to the mix in the winter of 2019/2020 and good lord that staff could be absolutely bonkers. Like 90s Braves good... A Kopech/Rodon/Cease trio could be pretty insane. And we have a ton of other interesting arms to fill up a staff. While Sale would be awesome, I’d still rather add a Machado or Arenado.

fathom
He's been pretty consistent all year, but Rutherford looks like he's hit the wall. Bat really slow. Oh well, good bounce back season.

The Sir
As much as Sox fans get irritated with Moncada's slow progress, can y'all imagine how we'd treat Lewis Brinson? Guy has been TERRIBLE ever since being called up, and while it's a small sample, even his rehab in the minors is ugly. Also, notice who's leading off for the Tides tonight? Mike Yastrzemski. Yep- Carl's grandson.

caulfield12
Seems like Madrigal is really wearing down...long season at OSU, the extended College World Series, then straight to professional baseball. Think he needs a break, was pulled out of 2nd game for some reason tonight. Hope they don't send him to the AFL until after he's had the opportunity to make some adjustments with his approach. I feel like it would be super odd to have a guy in the AFL in his draft year, especially after a long NCAA season.

You can only send so many guys below AA and Robert has a much stronger case to make the cut.
