Mieses (his signing buddy) had a better start with power but has fallen off. Comas keeps chugging. Low BBs but really nice k rate and hitting .320 over 147 ABs. 18 years old, he’s a player hopefully we’ll hear more about in instructionals. At this point, you almost hope it's a minor injury. 12 hours ago, reiks12 said: Yeah he has to be hurt still, why are they pushing it? They are "pushing it" because he's not injured. Struggling with command and control. He'll be in instructs most likely trying to get it ironed out. 11 hours ago, fathom said: Collins with 2 more strike outs looking tonight. He's the minor league version of Yoan. He's not though. He has a 20% walk rate in AA with a 134 wRC+. That's going down obviously but he makes fewer outs than many of the guys on that team. I know that you used the comparison because they both look at strikes but at least he walks a shitload. If people don't like Moncada's approach, they are going to hate Zack Collins

First 2 starts in WS: 2 IP (39 pitches), 2 hits, 2 walks ,1 K, O ER 3 IP (50 pitches), 4 hits, 0 walks, 6 K, 2 ER 4 IP (75 pitches), 2 hits, 5 walks, 5 K, 1 ER Seems like he's get an awfully quick hook. I think they are trying to fix him, not win games.

If they’re trying to fix him, you’d think that’s let him throw some more pitches..

Unless they see him reverting back or not following instruction, so they pull him.
