Kid Gleason
My bosses neighbor walked over to his house last night and gave him 4 tickets to tonights game...FOR FREE!!! Ya want to know why? His neighbor is a Sox fan and has no interest in going!!! ***can't say I would do the same thing, as I don't know when play-off ball will be played around here again. I would go in a Marlins shirt and hat though, but I would probably go just to soak up the atmosphere. If there Series does happen here, I will bust my rump to find tickets though, and wear the AL colors no matter what, though if it is Yankees I will probably just wear my White Sox pinstripes, as that is kind of close, but not Yankee all the way...ya know...***

The Critic
My bosses neighbor walked over to his house last night and gave him 4 tickets to tonights game...FOR FREE!!! Ya want to know why? His neighbor is a Sox fan and has no interest in going!!! Kudos to the boss' neighbor!!!! I have NO interest in this series at all. None. I know some people will go just because it's playoff baseball and that's cool, but I just couldn't care less. On a totally unrelated note ( ), HOCKEY SEASON BEGINS TOMORROW!!!! The Critic
I would go in a Marlins shirt and hat though, but I would probably go just to soak up the atmosphere. What atmosphere??? Half the dopes in that park are probably saying, "I didn't see this series on my pocket schedule - mine ends in September - I should complain." If the Series did happen to come to Chicago ( Go Marlins, by the way ), they'd probably say "I thought Interleague Play ended already!!!" Kid Gleason
LOL! Nah, just the craze that take over the city when anything like this happens. I didn't get into the whole Bulls thing because I hate basketball more than I hate the Cubs. But I am a baseball freak, so to not even pay attention to the World Series when it is this close to me would be a little crazy, if it gets to the Series point. Granted, I would probably be more interested in going if it were happeneing in Milwaukee, but this is too close to just walk by. It isn't the teams I am interested in, but rather just the World Series. But if Boston is there, then I will be going for a team I actually like. Plus my brother-in-law is a Boston nut, so I will be pushing him to track down tickets.

But my ticket was free so I'm taking advantage.

I went to Game 5 in Atlanta the other night and the atmosphere was awesome. Exactly what baseball should be all about. Have a great time. southsider2k5
So how was the game? Did you laugh at all the Cub fans as you left?
Steff
So how was the game? Did you laugh at all the Cub fans as you left? Great time. Very great time. I didn't bother laughing at them. No point. One guy was so mad that I, being a Sox fan, was there. He was hounding me all night. It was quite entertaining.
