Chicago White Sox
Sox aren’t trading Abreu while they try to recruit Harper & Machado. Maybe if they miss out on those guys, but nothing beforehand.

Baron
I mean........I don't know how trading Jose would help with any top flight free agent coming here.
fathom
Dodgers have an insane amount of starting pitching also. Wonder if Sox would try to go after someone like Wood or Stripling in a bigger deal

Bob Sacamano
Doubt they trade him. Not right now when they're recruiting a big time free agent. Dodgers are just asking.

You don't trade him for that. Either they give up something of value, or you let him play out his contract.

I just don’t think Abreu has a ton of trade value. Man has a great stick and is paid appropriately for it. Little to no surplus value and limited defensively. Id move him for Ruiz in a second. But I’d blown away if LAD is offering anything near that.
