I don’t think not getting Happ makes them more likely to get Harper or Machado. I think they just move to Keuchel or possibly Morton. Keuchel, Kikuchi, & Morton are the only attractive starters left on the market. At some point, teams with pitching needs will have to look toward the trade market.
