YASNY
We need one of these: :fthecubs for the Twins.
whitesox61382
I thought I read somewhere that Ryan is planning on cutting his payroll to something in the 40-45M range with the drop in attendence, which would be a pretty significant decrease from 55M that it started at in 2003. I wouldn't mind seeing the Sox get their hands on any of their FA or arbitration eligible players. That is a pretty talented list of players. I have a feeling that Stewart(although Ryan would love to keep him) and either Guardado/Hawkins(possible both) are gone for sure. I think they might trade Pierzynski mid-season next year if they feel Mauer is ready. Jones and Guzman are also names to keep on eye on in trade talks. The Twins SHOULD be weaker next season. I just hope that JR and KW see this and put a team that can take advantage of this on the field.

If that happens this division is up for grabs, as the Twins will have to unload a bunch of players and have no chance at resigning anyone. Wouldn't we like to earn the division and knock off the champs? Winning by default is weak, but it worked for the north siders this year so who know. Here's da link, http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1634424 And Gardenhire can keep whining as long as he keeps winning the AL Central. The fact that the White Sox have lost this division two years in a row to the f***ing Twins is a joke.

Gardy can say whatever he wants to whomever he wants whenever he wants, as long as he's winning.

Seriously, how could the Twins' attendance DROP after they win back-to-back divisional titles? I'd like for us to go after LaTroy Hawkins as a replacement for Schoenweis...We could have a bullpen such as: Wunsch, Hawkins, Koch, Sullivan, Marte, Gordon. Aside from Koch, this looks like a pretty solid bullpen!
