A PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY good Sox Fest would be both Harper and Machado, which is highly unlikely short of the Sox blowing their wad

I’m really thinking they’re trying to pull off both with record breaking contracts.  Machado gets 10/$280 (topping Greinke’s AAV record) & Harper gets 10/$326M (topping Stanton’s total dollars record). Machado gets an opt-out one year earlier for taking two less total years in his deal.  Both guys get winning deals their agents can brag about.

We all can only hope. 

Even if it blew up in our faces, signing both would be completely franchise altering and generate more excitement around the White Sox than arguably ever. 

Reinsdorf isn't getting any younger, why the hell not?

10/280 comes no where close to topping a $34 million a year AAV.
