When Cashman was asked if Tulowitzki signing takes the Yankees out of the pursuit of Machado, he said, "I can't say what it would take us out of, but we're re going into this w/ a commitment level to try Troy Tulowitzki at SS." Me: I still think Yanks are very much in on Machado

Of course they're in on Machado. Teams that are in on 8 yr, 300mm commitments don't change their mind based on a oft-injured 34 year old SS who signs for minimum salaries.

Their ultimate end game has always been to sign Machado and flip Andujar for a front line starter. There aren't any more "game changing" top line starters available after they struck out on Corbin, so now they will buy a TOR starter by signing Machado and trading Andujar.

I feel like the Nationals are a likely landing spot for Harper at the end of the day. The longer this drags on, the more likely he resigns I feel.

Harper would sign with the Dodgers or Yankees, but I don't feel the offers will be lucrative in the end for him. Honestly, I do not feel the Sox or Phillies are desired locations for a star like Harper at the end of the day.

I met Danny DeVito in the Kansas City airport while he was checking in for his Southwest flight...sometimes you gotta ball on a budget.

Of course it Danny DeVito would fly Southwest. Dude's tiny so he'd have more than enough leg room.

I don’t get it, he’s the one who said what he did initially.  It’s not like a Sox fan called him and asked “so do you think Machado might pick the Sox?”

He was such a dick weed on the radio yesterday. I was thinking to myself, “dude, what have the Dodgers won?” They have a $180+ million payroll and can’t win a title. Stick it up your ass LA fans.

Sweet, this never-ending drama totally needed a shove towards reviving the Filibuster. Thanks, buddy!
