The thing is the New York Yankee colors are Midnight Navy Blue, Gray and White - these gloves are clearly black and white.  Now if there was one that had Black, White and Silver... or Maybe a throwback glove for the Sunday retro Jersey It would be a bigger clue but all in all, it is clearly White Sox colors.

I think this person might be someone who posts on this message board. Classic troll move right as the glove thing seems to hit we have a new nugget.

Being able to read tea leaves and then claim credit before anyone else can is a great 21st century talent.

The thing about white sox colors is that they are incredibly neutral.

They have to announce them WWE style though.

"That is Bryce Harper's music!"

Machado will be Razor, Harper can be Nash, and Hahn will be Hollywood Hogan to announce MLB's NWO. Maybe Levine or Merk can be Mean Gene.

Rawlings would HAVE to be doing that for the publicity. They know they aren’t going to break the Manny news.

Absolutely for publicity. I imagine that post ahs been liked and shared thousands of times more than an average post of theirs.

I don't think this means Manny decided anything, though. He's probably leaning Sox, but this is a $300 glove for someone who is going to get a $300 million contract (and he probably gets the glove for free, TBH). He could sign with the Phillies and tell them to send him a red glove when it's ready. It's not unusual for players to switch gloves mid-season if they are traded and they had a glove in the previous team's colors. Looks like Manny used a tan glove all last year, so he didn't change after the Dodgers trade.

My question, for those who are more keen to gloves, are those SS or 3B gloves? 3B gloves are generally larger, right?
