Dick Allen
This is good news. He is taking the best deal. So we will know if the Sox were serious, or just excited that a player would consider signing with them if they paid him a boatload of money.

Soxfest
I just don’t see Machado in SD. Sox still have 50/50 chance.

Yes good for Manny for taking the best deal when it comes. Sox wasted 13 million on garbage players to try to lure him to this shit show of an organization and won't even be willing to be the highest bidder for the guy. Dick Allen
J Michael Robertson and the Patriots guy say the Sox are getting both. They wouldn’t lie. 2

Chicago White Sox
Just now, Baron said: No idea. Is it not possible that the Padres got to that 300 mark? It’s far more likely the Padres heard of low offers being out there and decided to see if they could get him on their terms. It seems incredibly unlikely they entered the process so late in the game if they were willing to pay $300M.

Mr. Showtime
Besides for getting everyone riled up, it sure seems like this is going to end in the next few days at this point. At least we got that going for us.

You still believe they get one of these guys or has something changed for you? Seems like you've held onto the theory that they'd have to mess it up for things not to break right for them.
