wegner Posted February 23, 2019 Share Posted February 23, 2019 I remember hearing a podcast or White Sox weekly a couple of years back and they were interviewing one of the national baseball writers. They asked him who he thought the White Sox closer would be when they were ready to compete. Without hesitation he said Carson Fulmer (this was when Carson was struggling as a starter) .He thought Carson had the mental makeup and the stuff to close. I know the Sox expected him to be a starter when they drafted him but if he can be a part of a shut down bullpen, great. I have not given up on him yet.
