Insp
You don't hear much about the Windy City Bulls in the media, but the Chicago Bulls' NBA G League affiliate have clinched a playoff spot with a winning record. If Bulls management does not screw things up, it looks like some good talent may be coming to the Bulls the next season or two. https://windycity.gleague.nba.com/ What do you guys think?
Brian
I think the G League is not the same as a minor league system. Rarely do guys move up and make a difference.
2nd_city_saint787
Is the D league still a thing or did this take it's place? If the D is still around, what's the difference?

If the Bulls are to compete, they need to embrace the concept at least as much as other teams.

I hope the Bulls can identify role players and groom guys, but I think they've done a decent job when you look at Arc, Harrison, and Seldon. All of them have their limitations and none are starters, but they all have shown an ability to be solid role players / bench guys.

Teams seem to be using the system to make money, expand the fan base, etc. I really don’t see it as developing players. Rosters are small and top college players can make an impact immediately.
