Jake
The problem with the review here is you're making Carson throw the 3-1 pitch cold when he's ruled safe
SoxAce
This is on Renteria. Nobody else. Fulmer actually pitched well today then got left to dry this inning. Edited April 8, 2019 by SoxAce

Jake
Well it was a good day for Carson. I think he may be good enough to stay up here, although I doubt he will

Renteria refuses to do that. It isn't about today. It is about saving as many pitchers as you can for the next few days.
Blackout Friday
Juuuuuust a bit outside. Seemed pretty obvious Fulmer was losing it, and now he leaves on a negative note instead of what could have easily been a enormously positive for him. Dude is way over the "feel good" stage of his career, need to see results.
southsider2k5
Nate Jones starts off at 95mph, so that is nice.
JuliusO1274
Ricky will randomly use 3 pitchers to get 3 outs in an inning but will leave Fulmer in to get out of a jam in the 8th when he's thrown almost 50 pitches.

I'd love for Carson to be able to go 100 pitches but the Sox moved him to the bullpen presumably because they wanted to focus him on throwing 20 good pitches per day

Does he even use analytics? But, hey, the comfort of lifers first, winning second.

But are way more hittable, so that's nice.

Dick Allen
14 strikeouts no walks for White Sox hitters today. By no means should they expect better and make any staff changes. More of the same. I really think JR KW and RH collective biggest problem is not being able to admit they are ever wrong. It takes a Shiels/Tatis magnitude blunder for any concession of not being more baseball savvy than everyone else.
Moan4Yoan
2 walks and 3 hits in 3 innings isn’t exactly inspiring. But I don’t think it matters if Fulmer stays on the big league team. It’s obvious that tank mode is still in full force as the Sox don’t have a good enough offense or pitching to compete.
