It looks like an interesting pitch. There's a lot of load for what looks like a very slow curve with some nice bite. My concern would be that there's more deception than movement that major league hitters would pick up on and start laying off or raking it. His batted ball profile hasn't significantly changed (pull % is unchanged, GB's up 7%, FB's up 4%, LD's down significantly) but he's a hitter whose statcast info would be interesting to see. His LD% is down to 8.6% which is comically bad, and GB% is up to 68.6%. These numbers are huge deviation from his results last year and I hope they catch on the issue and correct it ASAP.
