ron883
It's time to see what we have here and play Jose full time at 2nd. Let him sub at 3rd or SS when Timmy or YoYo need a break. Jose has more potential that any of our other options. 2
Jose Abreu
Couldn't agree more. We know what Sanchez is. We don't know what we have in the young, natural shortstop who slugged .500 at AAA. He needs ABs.
Chicago White Sox
100% agree.
Blackout Friday
Yeah he’s got an intriguing bat, but holy hell is he slow turning a double play. That could hopefully come with reps.
Tnetennba
I was in the "start Rondon" camp until I watched him play D. Now I am in the "how is Danny Mendick's D?" camp...
JUSTgottaBELIEVE
I finally agree with Ron about something!
JoshPR
Blah. Got a really bad approach. Swings crazy. He does have good pop. At third maybe. But as people stated his d is not all that good in the middle infield.
Moan4Yoan
Agreed. I would like to see the power numbers he can put up, even if his AVG and OBP is low.
Goober
I'd rather have madrigal up
Jack Parkman
It depends on if he can catch the ball. If Rondon is as bad of a 2B as Eloy is an OF, then maybe not.

Although we really have no need of Yolmer, he's kept around because we love him so. On his best days, he's a defensive super-sub. GreenSox
See if Rondon can play some outfield.

Greg Hibbard
I'd see what Rondon could do with the stick this year. Could we move him to first?
mqr
I'm fine with him being the every day LF while Eloy is out of comission
Chicago White Sox
Admittedly I haven’t seen a ton of Rondon in the field, but I believe he was a glove first SS when he was coming up in the Padres. I find it hard to believe he could be that bad in the infield.

I feel like I have seen a few plays he hasn't made that Anderson or Sanchez make easily.
