Why do we subject ourselves to this? 5/5 Gamethread vs Sawx

Recommended Posts

Leave it to the White Sox to draw awesome crowds on a great weekend and completely shit their own pants offensively, defensively, and pitching-wise.

I was one of the unfortunate souls at the game yesterday. Still had a blast because I checked out of that game after the 3rd or 4th inning or whatever it was.

The White Sox team embodying the persona of the front office/owner with regards to not signing Manny. "Fuck the Sox fans".

There better be a big fucking payoff at the end of this. They better be right.

Him and Yoan have had a very rough stretch of games. Yoan’s numbers aren’t far off from where he was at last year at this point.

That is such a wonderful disingenuous post, considering he had an awesome start last year and he is sitting at an .890 OPS. ?

And let‘s just ignore his looking strikeout percentage.

Yeah and he had an awesome start this year and is fading around the same time he started to fade last year.  The one thing he’s really improved on is batting righty at least.

And his K-rate and his line drive rate and so on.

To be fair though, if you were alive back then you would say that Joe DiMaggio‘s average is plummeting and in free fall one day after his hitting streak ended.

And Herrera is hurt, which is now one last trade chip that could've netted the Sox a B- prospect that never was going to see a major league field anyway

He doesn’t have much trade value with that contract of his.  He’s not a closer anymore.

His hard contact is actually lower this year than it was last year for the full season.

Well another injury to a pitcher...have to imagine Vieira or Burr is next up

We were just saying in the Fulmer sent down thread that Viera was just sent down, we think he has to wait 10 days in the minors before he can be called back up.
