mqr
So we're still short one no? Edit: nvm, I realize Jones was on the 10-day Edited May 6, 2019 by mqr

ScootsMcGoots
I don't understand why they brought up Frare in the first place.
ChiSox59
Totally fine with Tilson getting another shot, though I don't expect much. I was thinking this may be a bummer for Delmonico - I kind of doubt they add Tilson back to the roster just to DFA him again in a week or less when Eloy comes back. I assumed Tilson was out of options since he's already been removed from the 40 man once. BUT.....it appears the Sox outrighted him off the 40-man that time and did not DFA him due to a lack of options. Tilson still has 1 remaining, so he can be demoted back to AAA when Eloy returns without running him through waivers.

mqr
One thing that is undoubtedly better this year, is they are less willing to put up with garbage performance from guys who shouldn't be given the time.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
I think I said it last year and I know I said it this year. There has to be a revolving door. Bodies in , bodies out like a morgue. Then you hope someone rises from the ashes. 1

tray
Perhaps if Luis Roberts continues to hit over .400, with monster4 home runs, a few more 3 and 4 hit games with multiple extra base hits, he will be deemed "ready." Meanwhile, we have had to watch umpteen sorry at-bats from Palka. Engel and now Tilson. Oh, they are ready alright..... for then sh1tcan. Anyway, we already have Cordell and Leury Garcia and Delmonico so what is the point of adding another AAA back-up outfielder ? Shuffling the deck.....on the Titaniic. More than half of the roster is absolute garbage. So much is riding on the shoulders of Robert, Jimenez, Madrigal, Cease, and Kopech. When they are ready to win, they'll just pepper in the over-the-hill 30+ year old free agents that they are know to sign to complete the roster. The Ginger Kid
The good news is that the Sox have a ton of minor league talent ready to step in whenever someone goes down. Just like the yankees. And it's all homegrown, drafted and developed by some of the sharpest minds in the game today.

So much is riding on all the young kids when you have an owner who does not believe in giving out 100 million dollar plus contracts. The Sox will continue to shop at Aldi even though they can afford Whole Foods.

Moan4Yoan
Let’s hope Hahn stops making the same mistakes with Rodon and Jones. Once they get healthy, immediately trade them for whatever you can. Stop waiting for them to get inevitable injured.
Lip Man 1
I think we've seen the last of Mr. Jones, thank God. Guy started off his career something like 8-0 and I remember thinking this guy could be something special....turns out he wasn't.
