elrockinMT
The pitchers just can’t keep it in the ballpark. I thought we might catch a break after Moncada’s nifty play but NOOOO!
OneDog847
This series should put to bed any more delusional thoughts of the Sox competing this year or next. Moncada is the only guy on the Sox who would start for Minnesota. It is time to hunker down and embrace the tank for a few more years.

It's a good time to be a Twins fan. Their major league team is kicking ass and their farm is stacked as well. Yeah this is quite the emergence for their organization. They’re in great position for the next few years.

pcq
The worst part might be seeing Sox players get rattled. I wish people would stfu about the owner. It's a tired old saw.

Lillian
Collins really hasn't done much lately, either. Unless Rutschman somehow miraculously falls to us, McCann is probably the guy to resign and keep into his early 30's. At least he is a very good defensive catcher, who seems to have figured out how to be a smart hitter. He won't keep us his current pace, but he doesn't need to be anymore than a .270 hitter, with a little pop.

He's always low in framing. Cooper apparently likes him, but lately Cooper's judgment stinks. The Twins have also gotten a lot of mileage out of Free Agents...the type of Free Agents in the same cost range that the White Sox fish in. The Sox veterans free agents have been big negatives. I guess the Twins use analytics and actually scout their guys. Edited May 26, 2019 by GreenSox

Lillian
Is there really much of a question about McCann's defence? He seems to be exceptional at blocking balls, and calling a good game. I don't know how his pitch framing grades, but he does also have a pretty good arm. Edited May 26, 2019 by Lillian

Looks like Eloy is gonna require at least 1000 at bats in the pros before he becomes the elite bat that everyone said he would be.

Well, if McCann isn't a good defensive catcher, then you can add that position as a hole to be filled, likely in free agency, because neither Collins, or Zevala are good defensive catchers and I don't see either of their bats being good enough to carry them.

NWINFan
Stone and Benneti have been telling us how good this offense is, but they can't even put the ball in play. And they have been boasting about how well the Sox offense has done in the late innings. Of course, the opposition starter is out, and many times there is a drop off in the bullpen. The White Sox can't come up with the big hit, and only Anderson can put pressure on the opposition defense with base running speed. How many times has the offense registered double-digit strikeouts in a game?

Moncada, Garcia and Tilson are all speedy players as well besides TA. The team isn't good. Chances are, this rebuild won't succeed how we all want it to. But to b**** about being swept in a road series against the AL's hottest team? Seems outrageous and wasteful
flavum
Twins 18-8 on the road and home. Credit due. Sox would have been better off trading Sale, Eaton, and Quintana, then getting right back to filling in the gaps and hoping. In fact, get to it next offseason.
