But it's funny, cubs fans absolutely refuse to believe that either of those guys are touchable now that they've built up the tiniest amount of organizational depth.

Jack Parkman
Happ and Alzolay from the Cubs. I doubt that they'll trade Hoerner. Alzolay helps now because they can slide him in their rotation and it gives them another arm with upside. Happ gives them a competent 2B and RF. YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
Ian Happ is terrible. I have no idea why some Sox fans want him so badly.

Schwarber was a terrible pick in hindsight. He's like a 2.5 WAR corner OF, there are worse things to get from a 4th overall pick. That said, no way he should be on the Sox' rader. We need pitching prospects, not starting corner OF.
Jack Parkman
That said, I'd rather grab Adonis Medina fron the Phillies. Which other contenders need a closer? Edited May 31, 2019 by Jack Parkman

SoxAce
I wanna see what we can do with Alex Lange from them. Cubs are much better developing hitting prospects than they are pitchers. Brandon Little is also a nice arm. Both guys former 1st round picks.

bubba phillips
A story in MLB.com said that there were scouts from 5 or 6 teams looking at Colome this week. Competition is good to drive up the price. I would think the best offer (if it is a prospect) would be in the 50-100 range

That is a suck starting shotgun pick for a FO.
