I think that's a fair deal for Buehrle.

It may be a fair deal for him, but he wants more....I'd give him $4 mill a year, but I would even consider $5-$6 million....as I said above.

Only KW has said that. Nobody ever reported it.

ummm i still see trouble here, even if kw is lieing. my question is if kw is lieing, then is this the making of a very confrontational meeting with mark b and his camp?

I'm telling you all right now, Buehrle is gone the first chance he gets.

umm, you are going soley by what KW said on the radio the otehr day, but it was also reported back in November taht the Sox offered him 3 yr and 10 mil and he rejected it.

so a report in november and KW saying on the radio just a few weeks ago that they offered him Zito/Hudson money, although he never said the amount. I think the offer happened.

If that was offered and he rejected it, he's a fool. That is why I don't think it was an actual offer..... maybe a number batted around by Buehrle and his agent which JR scoffed at. I don't see the White Sox offering Buehrle anything more than 7 million over 3 years.

either way, some one from the mark b camp has to say something. is this some sort of damage control that kw is doing in case he might have to trade him

I don't think even KW is dumb enough to trade Buehrle at this stage of the game. Given the history of relative cheapness out of this Organization and JR's opinion on signing SP's, one can practically guarantee the "Zito-money" offered to MB was in the ballpark but was not at or above what Zito makes. KW is already staking his claim to the "don't-blame-me-that-MB-is-gone" moniker.

actually back in november they wanted to talk an offer to mark.. but mark was out of the country and his agent wouldnt talk untill he returned... upon marks return kw never made a phone call back to get the talks going again............it was marks agent who made the first move on that part and then waited for kw to return his calls...........as far as the sox offering him zito money... well untill i hear it from the horses mouth that he was offered it and then turned it down, i will say its safe to bet that kw was blowing smoke, once again out his ass............just like the time when we were in hot pursuite of arod, just like we are in hot pursuite of a good #2 starter... just like they honestly want to field a winning team, just like he only has .50 cents to spend not a 1.00...i can go on and on .... but for now ill just put it down in the book of stories kw loves to tell the fans...........:**** kenny williams
