I'm even more excited to see what Luis Robert can do, he could be even better if he's anywhere even close to his ceiling. I have to imagine he's a 35-40 homer guy every year tbh. Defensively he'll never be great but I assume he's destined for DH anyway. If he stays healthy he's probably going to be a .950 OPS guy annually

This was so much more dramatic than if he had just hit the slam in the first. Hahah. Holy shit. That dude. And while I’m sure he can improve in LF Ike Schwarber did, I would at least like to see him get part-time DH’ed. I know you can’t worry about or predict injury but it’s just not worth losing his bat to injury. Edited June 19, 2019 by Moan4Yoan
Soxbadger
I think Renteria believed that by the time Moncada got up Hamels would be gone and therefore hed face a righty. Its still ridiculous and so unnecessarily risky.

gusguyman
I am also mad about trying to play Moncada through the injury, But credit where it is due, RR actually managed the pitching staff beautifully tonight, and was right on top of it in pulling Nova. I had predicted he would let Nova blow up in the GT, I was dead wrong, he nailed it. Edited June 19, 2019 by gusguyman
