Bob Sacamano
Just want to point out Yonder was hitting .262 with a .380 OBP against lefties before this game. So there appears to be a method to the madness lol Edited June 25, 2019 by soxfan2014

caulfield12
Well, if this was last year, Marshall would have surrendered 2-3 of Giolito’s inherited runners.

Jack Parkman
Why does everyone think that Gio is going to revert to sucking? He's been facing some patient and damn good offenses the last two starts. Obviously what he did vs the Astros and jankees doesn't matter. He's still missing bats. He's gonna be fine. As has been mentioned - I'll take the 700 AB career sample size over the 42 AB 2019 sample size.

Managed 7K‘s, on the road in Boston, I‘ll take that from anyone. He lost his release point in the 6th inning.

YoYoIsMyHero
From his first AB the ump was screwing him. His already swing happy approach was affected by that this AB. Edited June 25, 2019 by YoYoIsMyHero

He didn't have a feel for his slider or change. He was also falling all over the mound. Still had a lot of life on his fb. I'm not worried at all. The usual suspects are going to hate on him regardless though.
