Alonso grounding into a DP preventing an insurance run.

Jay losing the ball in the sun

Rondon going home instead of taking the sure out with a 2 run lead

What a shitshow

Yet Hahn sees no issue

Don't even blame Colome at all. This is on Ricky.

This is on Jay, even though I don‘t blame him too much, that  happens, and Rondon first and foremost.

Colome got four  groundballs, two were fielded and should have been outs.

Jackasses.

Jay in RF.

Rondon with one of the worst defensive plays of the year...trying to cut down Nunez when he wasn’t even the tie runner.

Bogaerts was 8/17 against Colome coming into that at-bat...open base, still pitched to him anyway.

Garcia got careless and almost messed up the flip to Yolmer.

So that's a blown save for Colome right? i.e. we can finally stop hearing about how he must be one of the best relievers in the league because he hasn't blown a save?

Sure seem happy about it.

Not really. But if you're gonna live by "He's a perfect closer and that's all that could possibly matter for a closer!!!", you suffer by the same stat.

Hoping that bad things happen to the Sox just that you can win an online messageboard argument is the saddest shit ever.

You must be  a miserable and  petty man.

Had Fry face one batter than takes him out was micromanaging. Marshall then promptly gives up 2 hits (one was the flukey one) and then asks Colome to get 5 outs.

Who has said he's a perfect closer?  Rivera wasn't even perfect.  He is a really good trade piece for the deadline.

Bad fundamentals can be blamed on the player.   However, when they happen over and over, the coaching staff has to take a large part of the responsibility.   If Ozzie was on the bench instead of Ricky, we would have never seen the stupidity we’ve seen this game.

WTF? Especially his last few years when he didn't care, those teams were fundamentally rotten. IMO, a huge part of the strong performance in 2012 was that the team went from being fundamentally awful to fundamentally spectacular for 1 short season.

Ozzie presided over some equal bullshit but go on

2005-2008 Ozzie, maybe you can extend it to 2010 but 2009 was awful.
