CubsSuck1
Why does dips*** Illinois get al of the media coverage here when the NIU HUSKIES are 6-0. Damn, we could go undefeated, but we will be on tv TWO times this year, yet Illinois gets their asses handed to them EVERY week. Pisses me off.. You do deserve more TV coverage, but the tv deals are already in place before the season starts and you're not in a major conference so it makes it difficult to get on tv. SuperSteve
Bulls***. NIU doesn't deserve anymore than what Marshall got when they were first getting good. Struggling a little against Central Michigan. Seriously, a real football team, Michigan, embarressed Central. If not for a big third quarter. Also, play some big games, and sorry but I don't consider Bowling Green a big game nationally. State showed Illinois how to play football today. We beat bama and marland and every one else we played, wat more do we need? Just pissed that NIU is the closest school to us and theyre never on tv except twice, and they dont suck like ISU... NIU played a good game today on the road and it was CMU's homecoming - no team is required to win every game by 63 points, it is just win and NIU has done that so congrats to them for their season thus far - a MAC team will never get a BCS bid (as structured) but sure would be cool if NIU went undefeated into a bowl game - with scholarship limits and all, parity has reduced the difference between the conferances and the MAC has had a good year so far. Miami Ohio looks very tough and several other MAC teams are doing quite well.

AssHatSoxFan
as an Illini fan I want NIU to do well and go undefeated. I like Turner and I like how the NIU program is getting better. And winning games will do nothing but help them which is something the Illini cannot seem to grasp, winning. so GO NIU and Turner the BURNER

SuperSteve
Bama and Maryland eh. A 3-4 Alabama teams scares me so much. Maryland is okay, but that WEAK ACC doesn't prove a thing. Clemson is really Maryland's only win over a tough team, sorry I don't consider the Citadel a tough team. NIU isn't even the best undefeated non-BCS team, that great? honor goes to Texas Christian University. We'll see when Michigan gets beaten by State this year. Ya guys got lucky to beat Minnesota. Don't even bring up ISU. That is an awful joke. Illinois State is 3-4 in the Gateway Conference. Maybe they should play NIU for the Division I-A National Championship. Their schedule is definitely easier than NIU's. Navy and South Florida are the only winning teams that TCU has played so far. South Florida lost to Alabama 40-17 by the way and Navy lost to Rutgers 48-27 for crying out loud. If you are going to use strength of schedule as why NIU is overrated, then TCU is more overrated. I was just f***ing round with TCU. I don't care about any midconference teams which don't have any effect on me. I think both are overrated. TCU is not the 17th, soon to be higher, team in the counrty, nor is NIU 18th, soon to be higher. TCU should be ranked more 25th, and NIU should be around 25th aswell. I am not trying to say they suck, there is no way anyone, including myself, can compare them to any of the BCS teams.
southsider2k5
Television contracts are worked out years in advance. Plus how many alumni want to see Illinois and how many want to see NIU?
