There are a ton of good forwards, he wouldn’t even start on the bulls. He isn’t versatile either.

Wings that can shoot threes or defend up are going to get paid way more than randle because you can plug them anywhere.

The bulls are obsessed with having no good point guards and ten limited power forwards every year though so I’m sure randle will be this years jabari Parker.

They didn't have a backup...so?

Yeah but they have 5 forwards in the rotation now and the league is going smaller so forward count probably matters more for rotational minutes than PF's.

Thad is fine but the Bulls are better off being the worst team in the nba than they are fighting for an 8 seed.

Being the worst team is not worth the costs of trying to get there anymore, especially with where the Bulls are with a number of young pieces that would probably have to get traded or spend much of the season hurt (as was the case last year) in order to be near the bottom of the league

The team is naturally going to be better unfortunately for your preference.

Yeah he is but how does this effect us getting higher paid FA next year on in 2021?

Certainly doesn't help but AFAIK there aren't projected to be any major guys next year. The third year of this deal is only partially guaranteed and at any rate he should be a tradeable asset if we really need the space.

Young is fine but would rather have had lamb. They see these power forwards in the market every year and prioritize them over guards even as they continue not to be able to find guards for cheap...wonder why?
