Leonard Zelig
"If you skipped the headline for some weird reason, these are fantasy rankings. As such, we value batters over pitchers and don’t give much weight to elite defenders just because their glove is good"

Madrigal would be considerably higher due to his above average defense at 2B. Vaughn likely starts out around #35 overall at MLB.com when the new rankings come out. The bat is for real and he could move quickly through the system.

But if he rakes in high A for 300+ PAs (say 1000 ops) he could move into the top30 rather quickly.

On the mlb pipeline podcast they said Vaughn would slot in somewhere around 30. https://www.mlb.com/news/rangers-sam-huff-joins-the-pipeline-podcast?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage It's at about 38 minutes in where they touch on Vaughn.
