Way too early to even speculate, really.

I know, but with me meeting Phil Rodgers in the offseason, I need some SERIOUS White Sox questions that will guide our offseason posts. So i was wondering if some of you would give me some questions for him.

Here's one I have always wondered. Why the hell don't we have a mascot?

Better than nothing. We wouldn't have to have a sock. Ya ever wonder why the Rockies have a dinosaur? How about some of the other mascots that make no sense.

Mariner Moose ;) ??

All this Sock talk reminds me of a Moron named Chimp Carey that always referes to the Sox in singular as WhiteSock. LOL!

If bartolo doesn't sign with us, which at this moment in my opinion is a 50/50 shot of getting him back. KW has balls and he could just go and up his side of the deal as far as money wise. I think he will be back, but if he goes else where. KW will come up with somthing to get another starter, He will trade if he has to or sign maybe someone else. I like sydny ponson, he isn't a bartolo but he can be. The giants are not going to sign him, and the sox might be able to snag him, because the yanks and bosox are going to be fighting for bartolo. another name that wouldn't be bad to get would be suppan. Heck lets try to get both,

Loaiza, Buerhle, Ponson, Suppan, Garland or Schoenwiess. that would be a great starting 5.

I am fairlly confident that the White Sox will have either Bartolo Colon, Javier Vazquez or Sidney Ponson next season.

Jas, while I agree with most of your opinions...gotta disagree on this one.

What are you basing this on, just speculation or have you heard anything on the other two besides Colon.

Vazquez to me would be a huge surprise and I think Ponson is going to ask for more than he's worth.

Soley base this on the fact that KW has always tried to add pitching and I don't see how this year will be any different. He's been interested in Vazquez and Ponson in the past.

Doesn't mean it will happen, but I don't see the Sox not adding another pitcher if they lose Bart.

I don't disagree on the adding a pitcher part if we lose Colon. There's almost no other choice. Otherwise, you're counting on Wright/Cotts/Rauch/Schoenweis, etc. to fill two rotation spots.

The problem is, it could be another Todd Ritchie who is added rather than a Ponson or Vazquez.

Its a definate possibility. Boomer, Ritchie, Colon its no secret that KW will make a move if Colon isn't back.

Yeah, I want to know the game plan (if any) to match the Cubs success. Or else save time and just move the team.

The White Sox aren't moving this team. Case closed as neither the City nor the Mayor nor legistlatures would allow it.

Florida White Sox
