bmags
I will trade any pitching prospect.
Chicago White Sox
Trading Kopech for Thor provides certainty at the top of the rotation, but ultimately leaves a hole that will still need to be filled. That doesn’t make any sense IMO.
fathom
Is Thor even an ace? Kopech is untouchable for me, but if you want to do Cease, Walker and Collins for him....I’m game Edited July 25, 2019 by fathom

Don't like trading that for someone with 2 years of control. Cease is likely to have a better year in 2020 than Thor.
ChiSox59
Hard pass on trading any top prospects for pitching. Plenty of pitching on the FA market and all you have to do is pay them. So stupid to trade Cease or Kopech for pitching.

I would give him at least 2 full years before you can make that kind of determination. Edited July 26, 2019 by BackDoorBreach
BackDoorBreach
Also the Sox don't have any logical pieces to get Thor. He's going to end up in either SD, HOU, or LAD in that order. This stove is ice cold though and it's irritating. I just want the Sox to do something interesting with the limited tradeable assets we have. Hahn has been pretty good at getting value out of trades so we will find out very soon. Colome and Leury are 100% gone imo. It looks like they want to hold onto Bummer to see if he can close next year which I'm 50/50 on as he would help bring back a better return. Thor will likely only cost a top 40ish guy with a couple interesting prospects paired. The sox could acquire Thor if they want. I'd consider it for anyone but for Mad and Robert in the minors right now.
