KnightsOnMintSt
Haven been many White Sox rumors as the deadline approaches, so it got me thinking about some "what if" deals for some of the guys on the market. Who says and yes and who says no to this deal? White Sox get: Noah Syndergaard Mets get: Dane Dunning, Luis Alexander Basabe, Jonathan Stiever and Bernardo Flores
mqr
Syndergaard talks would begin and end with Kopech

Jose Abreu
Not happening without one of Kopech/Cease/Robert/Madrigal. So I'd rather we not get him
ChiSox59
Hard pass on Thor. Paying the price to acquire him makes zero sense for the White Sox. Let the Twins trade Kirilloff + Graterol + for 2.33 years of a wildly overrated pitcher.

This deal wouldn't even warrant response.
Dick Allen
If the Mets trade him, at least the Sox would benefit in some small way.

Pal
The haul Tor got for Stroman leads me to believe Thor could be had without giving up a Kopech/Cease/Madrigal/Vaughn

MnSoxFan
The Twins stopped talking to the Mets for Syndergaard because the Mets were adamant that they get Buxton. That would mean Robert+ I am guessing
Jack Parkman
More than the Sox would be willing to pay. Next question.
Moan4Yoan
The Sox putrid offense is juicing up his trade value even more, not that they would or should be interested in acquiring him anyways.

He would be by far our best pitcher....I would be ecstatic if Kopech turns into anything close to Syndergaard. That said I’m sure he would require a kings ransom which unfortunately we don’t have to trade.

Look at Ray Ray Run
Good thing we didn't make a move for Noah; out for all of 2020 with TJ surgery. Tough break.

southsider2k5
Dodged a bullet there. Now he comes back in May or June of next year with free agency looming, so his value is destroyed.
caulfield12
Perfect FA acquisition target. Fits timeline, lowered cost/risk, expertise in organization dealing with numerous TJ recoveries...
