This will be telling. This is where home managers use their closers. If no Colome he is obviously either traded or near. If he pitches, probably nothing close.

Eh, there’s another day to go.  Diaz was on the block and pitched.  Puig was playing right up until he was traded and even got into a brawl during rumors of the trade so he will be missing some games to start his Indians career.

He won't get moved till near the 11th hour I wouldn't think.  His value has been boosted for a variety of reasons over the last couple days and we have another year of control.

Steve Stone:  “They’re going to walk Yolmer.  He’s swinging the bat too well.”

These words have never been spoken before, nor will they ever be again.

Steve Stone must be senile.

For the month of July, Yolmer is hitting .235 with a .244 OBP and a .602 OPS. From 17-19JUL, he had a hot streak with six hits in three games. Including that streak, which is pretty much the most generous thing you can do to his stats, he's hitting .261 with a .696 OPS.

Yolmer Sanchez is BAD. How many times does that need to be said before anyone looks at the stats and realizes it?

He just meant he was swinging the bat well today. He’s 2/2 with 2 walks.
