KnightsOnMintSt
Exciting times. Really looking forward to seeing what Madrigal can do in Charlotte. I think he will continue to put up big numbers.

joejoedairy
I dont want to be negative, but what has Vaughn done to deserve a promotion? It seems like they just have a schedule of when they're going to promote the top guys and their play doesnt effect it.
Jack Parkman
Does Vaughn start in A+ or AA next year? Given what they did with Madrigal, I'm going to assume A+.

He was never really supposed to be in Kanny to begin with IMO, and put up a .388 OBP despite a .233 BABIP.

bmags
Get him to W-S, he'll start there next year. Let him find housing, settle in, and mash next year through three levels.
Jose Abreu
Also Remillard to AA

At any rate, Vaught will start next season at Winston-Salem and be a fast mover, similar to Madrigal. Can't imagine they'd push him into the Arizona Fall League, but that could change if he lights up the stat sheet over the next month. Probably A+ unless he goes nuclear over the next month and the AFL. Not like he was shredding kanny, he was just kinda fine.

raBBit
Hypothetically swap Collins, Mercedes, Robert and Madrigal for Wellington, Reed, Jay and Sanchez RF Leury CF Robert (21) 3B Moncada (24) 1B Abreu LF Eloy (22) SS Anderson (26) DH Collins (24) C McCann 2B Madrgial (22) Bench: Mercedes, Engel, Goins

mqr
The depth pieces taking the slow route sucks, but the guys who need to fly through the system are, and with flying colors, so I think that mostly makes up for it.

It's not official yet but Charlotte has a night game so it doesn't need to be announced until the afternoon. They announced Vaughn so early because the Dash are playing in 5 minutes
Harry Chappas
I'd take Vaughn's number with a grain of salt as he transitions from college to pro and now three levels of pro ball. Next year slot him in AA and leave him there until he comes to Chicago.

YouCanPutItOnTheBoardYES!
The Sox just need to DFA Reed and call up Mercedes. No reason to not give him a chance at this point. 1
yesterday333
I have been hoping for a Sheets promotion. I would like to see him get a shot in the bigs before Vaughn gets called up. it would be nice to if he worked out to have him and Vaughn share time at 1b and DH in the future.
