Is this the first time he's struck out in back to back games in his professional career? Edited August 15, 2019 by SoxAce

Prior to tonight’s game, here are his stats since his demotion: 15.1% BB rate, 19.4% K rate, .227 ISO, .320/.430/.547/.977, .375 BABIP, 149 wRC+ Obviously that BABIP is running a bit high, but otherwise his numbers have really taken a turn for the best. Get. Him. Up.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
If the new Collins is real what a shot in the arm to the rebuild he would be. LH middle of the order bat with a good walk rate. Exactly what the Sox need.
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Collins up bases loaded 2 out bottom of 9th. Already 4/5 2 HR's 5 RBI .Knights trailing by 1.

But 6 RBI for Collins tonight and on base 5/6. Nice to see a .283 BA now .If the hit tool is better and walk rate stays above 10% and K rate around 20% he'll be hitting more HR's and maybe another beast . Fingers crossed he's figured somting out that will translate to the bigs. Edited August 15, 2019 by CaliSoxFanViaSWside

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
Knight's win on RBI single from Tilson. Nice comeback after SWB put up a snowman in the 7th to lead 12-8.

thxfrthmmrs
Just because we have a 6’7” behemoth playing OF doesn’t mean all big players are better suited out there. Sound logic there. Judge for the record started out and stayed at RF. Kid is 17 and already looks bigger than 6’4” and 215. He’s already primarily an LF, without scouting report you have to go by probability, and odds are he stays there or goes to 1B/DH, not moving to more premium positions.

How do we know he “looks” bigger than that? Not being a shit, just totally curious if someone has seen him or if it’s speculation. 1
Quin
How does he look big other than he's tall. And a clip of him in the field. Older, but still. He doesn't look big/destined for 1B right now.
bmags
He’s at least 300 pounds there
thxfrthmmrs
Good clip, he looks huge compared to others on the field. Doesn’t have the smoothiest running motion due to size, once he fills out his frame, if you think he will stick to OF after the first few years of his career, good for you.
