YoYoIsMyHero
Robert, Madrigal, Moncada, and Collins in the same lineup, eh?
mqr
I know this has been thrown around jokingly a few times, but now the Charlotte lineup is definitely better than the one in Chicago.
Jose Abreu
I'm actually interested to see how the lineup will be constructed. Obviously it has no bearing on the long-term MLB lineup, but will it go Madrigal-Robert-Moncada? Robert-Moncada with Madrigal further down? BamaDoc
In Birmingham it was Robert, Madrigal. At AAA it has been Madrigal then Robert. Interesting if they are trying different things, saw something, or are clueless.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
No Moncada tonight but Collins had a huge day 4/5 2 HR's 6 RBI including game tying walk with 2 outs in bottom of the 9th. Robert 2/5, 3 runs scored. Yermin 2/5 with a HR, Madrigal 0/5.

And yet he can’t even get a promotion because Hahn decided to draw some arbitrary line in the sand based on about 30 “irregular” at-bats. That actually has nothing to do with it. If you’d actually listen to what Hahn said on topic instead of commenting blind, you would understand that they are working on completely changing Collins approach at the plate and they want him to do that with everyday at bats in AAA. I too think he’s earned another shot in the bigs, but it’s not like they demoted him without a plan. And the plan seems to be working very well to this point.

If Collins develops into the player we hope...it will be a huge help in becoming a powerhouse.

Kind of like when they sent Beavis and Butthead back to kindergarten but so far so good.
