Give the Sox lineup kudos and credits for at least keeping this game close which is really all you can ask. Doc Steverson gets a participation certificate of authority.

The Sox lineup might be mediocre at best, but they absolutely lit up Lynn last night, these kind of games just happen.

That throw actually wasn’t that bad, Tim has to get to the bag.

still, he probably should have hung on to it.

Timmy definitely ole'd that. But McCann had no business even attempting to throw that. It was off a pitch in the dirt at that.

Didn't matter though as Calhoun went yard.

His bat is plenty good enough to be a DH

I never loved Calhoun as a prospect, I don’t think he will be an .800+ OPS bat long term, but maybe it‘s just my bias against him. IIRC he was brought up a lot in past trade proposals here and I never liked him

Jimmy Cordero with an idea where his pitches are going is a pretty interesting arm with long term control

Said it before but I honestly hope the Sox give him a look at closer next season. I think he would be very good there (and later down the line could potentially trade him for assets if need be).
