Jose Abreu
The Dominican Summer League is over for the White Sox. Benyamin Bailey (OF) had a .477 OBP which was 4th best in league history. Johnabiell Laureano (CF) had a .980 OPS and 6 home runs. Manuel Veloz (18, RHP) had a 0.91 ERA over 39.2 innings and surrendered just 7 walks and 0 home runs. Ronaldo Guzman (16, LHP) struck out 13.2 batters per 9 innings. Chicago White Sox
Good stuff...just need Getz to finally get some of these guys to succeed in full season ball. Lenyn Sosa still has a chance, but not a lot of success stories after Robert & Adolfo.
SoxAce
One of the most talented DSL teams the Sox had assembled. Gotta imagine at least half of that team will be stateside next season.
bmags
Wilber Sanchez is worth mentioning too. Late signing in May just after he turned 17. Hit .282 with a .391 obp and .395 slugging. Those numbers are very similar to what we saw from Mieses and Comas in their DSL stint, with plus OBP (which I wouldn't put too much stock into). His iso is normal to slightly above average for sox prospects that at least made it to great falls. edit: also a fine 16% k rate.
bmags
also just to be clear bailey didn't play a single game at first. CF - 6 games RF - 9 games LF - 36 games DH - 3 games

GenericUserName
https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/minor-league?pos=all&lg=30&stats=bat&qual=y&type=1&team=&season=2019&seasonEnd=2019&org=&ind=0&splitTeam=false&players=&sort=18,1&pagenum=0 Laureano and Bailey finished 8 and 10, respectively, in the DSL in wRC+ among qualified hitters. If you lower the required ABs, then Reuben Benavides also is on the list and is even higher than Laureano and Bailey.
