Never seen someone who misses so consistently with his breaking pitches. That said, if he's going to continue to throw 92-93 mph he can go this offseason. He's doesn't have good enough command. Fulmer at 94-96 is a viable pen arm. Otherwise he's toast.

Harold's Leg Lift
That was a piss poor effort by Collins. I know these two aren't easy to catch but he looks awful back there.

SoxAce
Pittsburgh is losing also. Rockies play the Padres in a few minutes (really doesn't matter who wins there, it helps the Sox).

EloyJenkins
Can't they do better than covey at this point. To be this far in the season and covey and detweiler getting starts is absolutely a black eye on Hahn.

To be this far in the season and covey and detweiler getting starts is absolutely a black eye on Hahn. With 2 potential starters (Kopech, Rodon) and another pretty good prospect who was getting close (Dunning) down for the count in what was still a rebuild year that would not see the Sox take on any high profile UFAs, the Sox were going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel as it is. After Lopez, Gio and Nova it was going to be a ton of mixing and matching. Sadly, Covey was part of that equation. Next year he won't be. I don't even think he'll be in this organization next year. vilehoopster
God damn it. Why is Covey pitching??!!! I just got home and checked the score. 1 and 7 this year isn't bad enough for the Sox to know he's terrible?? 6 and 29 in his career as a Sox isn't enough? ? What was it in his last game in the majors? Didn't he face 6 Twins and give up six runs? That's not enough for the Sox front office to know he's absolutely terrible, terrible, terrible and is never going to not be terrible?? What does it take for them to see he that he sucks? Does he need to go 1 and 11 or 12 for this year? Does he need to have a career Sox record of 7 and 36? Does he have to get up to 8 wins and 50 losses before they give up on him? What is the front office seeing??? They dumped Santana after two games. They could see to give up on Yonder A? Why can't they see to dump Covey??? Every fan who paid for a ticket tonight should be able to demand that they get their money back!!!
vilehoopster
The Angels came into this series 3 and 16 in their last 19 road games, and we're about to give them their second win in a row on the road. God damn!! It is hard to be a White Sox fan sometimes. Too often of late.

SoxAce
I like Swirsky. Refreshing to see an announcer not comment about what a fan in the park is doing every 5 seconds the camera happens to pan on him/her.

Jack Parkman
I think it's crazy how well Moncada has done this year given he's been battling nagging leg injuries all season. If he was healthy he scores on that 2B by Abreu last night.
