They're actually a good example of how you can fuck up a lot of good, young assets, by supplementing them with albatross contracts that don't work out. Conforto, Noah, Wheeler, Nimmo, Alonso, JD Davis, McNeil, Degrom, Maatz and Rosario is a heck of a young core. The problem is they've supplemented them with Cespedes, Cano, Diaz and other bad signings/contracts. Maatz obviously didn't pan out and Rosario hasn't been as good as advertised or believed, but that'll happen with young prospects. They are both still nice MLB pieces. Jack Parkman
Manfred should force Wilpon to sell. That is all.

The Brodie Van Wagenen thing with former clients definitely seems to be a thing the industry is tracking. It's always follow the money but with this clown it's follow his former clients. Nimmo (a former client) is projected to make $1.7M in arbitration this year. No reason to trade him now. Michael Conforto (Boras client) is projected to make $9.2M this year with another arb eligible year in 2021. That's a significant savings. BackDoorBreach
I haven't seen anything that Nimmo or Conforto could be available. With that being said they still need a CF and have like 5 or 6 OFs already.

I really think Sox should try to use Bummer to see if they can get conforto. Bummer+ Could fit with adding to team, and removing enough salary to make a run at CF with FA or trade.
