Queen Prawn
Sorry if this is a rehashed topic, but I didn't see it when I breezed through the list. The old saying goes, pitching and defense win titles. That doesn't seem to hold true this year completely. The pitching part, sure, but lordy, the defensive has been atrocious for all the playoff teams this year. It's almost as if no one wants it enough. Does anyone know if there has been an inordinate amount of errors this year or does it just seem that way? The red sox-spankme game is in the 5th and there is 3, I seem to remember one of the As-Sox games having 5+ errors, several of the scrubs games have been error filled...yikes. Chisoxfn
I just made a post on the main board about how the Red Sox are doing all they can do lose or at least it appears that way. That being said, I'm rooting for them
southsider2k5
Boy going back to the Braves series, there has been some really bad play this year. I wonder why?
Spiff
Well the Red Sox and Yankees aren't exactly the best fielding teams. If it was Marinerss-Twins the defense would be better probably, but it's not like the playoffs automatically makes better fielders.

Well usually the s***ty fielding teams are at home watching these games on TV, like we are.

DBAHO
Havin a wet outfield at Wrigley doesn't help much either. I saw Alex Gonzalez slip ova bf and still almost throw out Bako at 1st, pretty neat play.
