ron883
He has 4 pitches thst grade out as plus or better? I know he was a decent prospect, but 4 plus pitches makes him sound like a top product.

smellysox
Maybe my favorite pitching prospect not named Kopech. Dunning throwing with no issues is great news!
SoxBlanco
If Dunning gets in some extended spring training (as expected), when do we think he officially reports to an affiliate?

Who knows, I would assume he reports to AA.

Probably have to assume around 10 pitchers ahead of him so yea at one point he was probably like the 10th best pitching prospect in all of baseball. Edit :Ok just to be more accurate I looked at MLB pipeline rankings for 2018 and saw Dunning at #59 and counted 22 pitchers ahead of him including Kopech and Cease and some other familiar high ranking MiLB and now MLB pitchers. You're welcome whoever emojied me thanks. Edited February 24, 2020 by CaliSoxFanViaSWside

zisk
TJ surgery is OK. Would have been better if we didn't waste a year delaying the inevitable. I realize no one owns a crystal ball about injuries though.
