Rankin
Keep a close eye on 23-year-old righty Codi Heuer. Our Sean Williams gathered insight from Nick Hostetler that shines light on the 2018 6th round draft pick.
reiks12
I have been really impressed with his presence this spring and its encouraging to read how hard of a worker he is. Thanks for the write up, hopefully he makes an impact on the team this year.
chitownsportsfan
This is why you don't trade for bullpen pieces in March. Wait and see what you have in your own camp first. The Sox have quite a few interesting young arms. This guy's stats were impressive last year for where he was drafted. He could contribute this year at the MLB level.

Heads22
Watched him today. I get what the Sox see.

Bullpen arms are so fickle and the Sox have a pretty good track of finding guys.

zisk
Winston-Salem should be his first stop this year. He's an older prospect, so the Sox will probably push him up the ladder quickly if he does well. He faces a numbers game on the 40 man roster and could be subjected to the rule 5 draft.

Seeing as though he spent the second half of last season in Birmingham, I HIGHLY doubt they send him to WS.

Y2Jimmy0
Sam Long will likely be in the rotation at Winston-Salem
